PictureWhen I am not collecting reels, I like to fish for (big) trout.
Welcome to my Reely Old Reels & Antique Fishing Tackle website!

My name is Paul Manuel and I live in Toronto, Canada. I like to collect antique fishing reels, lures and whatever old tackle looks interesting. I have some very, very, old reels in my collection that are pictured on this site.

I am currently seeking 19th century brass winches with folding handles, ball-handle multipliers, Chapman metal baits and tough CCBCO lures. I  like early American reels, early brass reels, Indiana reels and old Canadian baits, especially Allcock, Laight & Westwood (AL&W) Toronto items.

More recently I have started to collect vintage Canadian made and Canadian marked reels.

Click on the Distinct Collections tab to get a closer look at my reel collections and accumulations.

The goal of this site is to share pictures of my more interesting reels and lures and to let folks know what types of reels and lures I am seeking for my collection. Let me know how you like this site by responding to a brief SURVEY
